Carpet & Chair Shampooing / Dry Cleaning

The market is full of dry cleaning compounds. Select the one you find the best. Now take the agent and start sprinkling it on the carpet. You can also use a sifter for sprinkling.
The Hagarty dry shampoo was much more effective than the spray and powder system (Oreck) I used the last few times I cleaned my carpet. Granted, I borrowed a small Oreck "orbiter multi-floor machine" to help brush it in, just as I had previously, but I was very, very happy with the results.
